As a non-binary, queer, neurodivergent person who’s introverted and struggles with social anxiety I know how important it is to feel both affirmed and relaxed while at the salon.
I have created my studio experience to be different than the typical salon that’s loud, crowded, fast paced and anxiety inducing for folks like us.
My studio is both private and intimate. My appointments are one-on-one with no double booking or distractions. My studio’s atmosphere is sensory friendly, calm, relaxing and uplifting. My booking process is transparent, simple to understand and gender-neutral.
My mission is to provide a safer and more inclusive salon experience that alleviates salon anxiety and overwhelm.
My specialty is alternative and transformative cutting and coloring. Mullets, shags, layers, emo, punk, vivid, colorful, unconventional. etc.
Private 1-on-1 appointments.
No double booking or other guest in my space during your appointment time so my focus can stay entirely on you and your hair.
Completely private and intimate experience where you can feel pampered and totally relaxed. During processing you have the space to yourself to read a book, get work done on a computer, just chill and talk, play a video game you brought, etc. However you want to use the time and space to relax.
Better communication and more thorough consultations than you’d find in busier salon atmospheres.
Sensory friendly atmosphere. A more quite salon appointment. Minimal, dimmed overhead lighting + natural sunlight. Calm lofi music by default or choose your own genre or no music at all upon request.
